Zigola Jazz & Plant Music
Zigola loves to combine her background as a jazz singer with the magic of Plant Music. She is passionate about Jazz from the American Songbook and she searches in its stories for authors and composers that have been inspired by nature and human relationships. Her repertoire includes songs like Autumn Leaves (which she sings in French.. Les Feuilles Mortes for the moving poetry on relationships), Nature Boy (about the ancient wisdom of those connected to simplicity), Summertime (about flowering in your life at the right moment) and What a Wonderful World (the one by Louis Armstrong which is a perfect ode to creation). Her repertoire is down to Earth: beautiful songs composed with genius simplicity. She integrates improvisations with music generated by plants, in order to explore our interdimensional human character and our capacity to be a bridge to other worlds.
About Plant music
The Bamboo device is a technology created by the initial inventors of plant music ‘Music of the Plants’. They come from a culture with vast knowledge of plant intelligence and plant communication. The device measures the changes in electrical resistance in a plant and translates this into midi notes and rhythm. Via the device or via your own musical software you can create a sound design.
Symphony - Masterplants
The Masterplants Symphony device is a technology that a group of musicians developed (including myself), inspired by plant intelligence and music generated by plants. The device is an avant garde technology for musicians that enable up to 8 plants to be connected in a plant symphony, sync with Ableton Live and BPM.
