Plant Music
Plant Music is foremost a magical discovery of the intelligence of the plant world. In my experience plants react with their music; they interact, inspire and send out healing melodies. With a trained ear (and heart and all of our outer and inner senses) it’s possibile to perceive music of plants anywhere in nature. I also work with another form of ‘Plant Music’ which is audible like any sound we’re familiar with, thanks to a technology which creates music generated by the fluctuations of the electrical impedence of a plant. About 40 years ago the experimentation with this technology started in Damanhur, Italy. Today, there are several producers of plant music devices. I mainly work with the technologies listed below. Bamboo and U1 from the MusicofthePlants (by Damanhur, Italy) and Masterplants Symphony by Masterplants Orchestra.
Bamboo - Music of the Plants
The Bamboo is the follow up device of the U1, a technology created by the initial inventors of plant music. The company Music of the Plants comes from a culture with vast knowledge of plant intelligence. Plant music for them is a means to re-connect all humans to the plant world. For this reason I am happy to work with them. The Bamboo M is user friendly, portable and versatile. You can use it easily in your living room or in concerts.
Symphony - Masterplants
Masterplants is a collective of musicians and artists that are inspired by plant intelligence and music generated by plants. The Symphony device (MPS-1) is an avant garde technology for musicians that enable up to 8 plants to be connected in a plant symphony
